Shipping and Returns

Product prices on our site are exclusive of postage and packing charges. A summary of these charges will be displayed after you add an item to the shopping cart. It will then be added to the total order sum on checkout. Swag Records Ltd reserves the right to change this shipping policy without notice.

All orders will be shipping one working day after making the order. All orders made on a Friday will be shipped on the following Monday.

We will endeavour to deliver the product(s) to you as soon as possible, in accordance with our shipping policy and the products' availability as set out on the website. Swag Records Ltd. will not be held accountable for any delay incurred by any 3rd party involved in the delivery of orders.

Deliveries will be made to the address that you give us for delivery of the product(s).

When creating an account on our website please make sure you enter your address correctly. If items are not delivered because you gave us incorrect information, or because your post office was unable to deliver the package because there was no-one to receive it and/or no-one came to collect it from the sorting office, Swag Records Ltd. will not be held accountable.

For our Post we use Royal Mail and Parcelforce.

If using Royal Mail (UK Standard Parcels, Special Delivery Next Day, Airmail Small Packets and International Signed For), orders that are processed before 16:00 GMT will be sent out the same day.

If using Parcelforce (Express 24, Europriority Home or Global Priority), orders that are processed before 14.00 GMT will be sent out the same day.

UK

FIRST CLASS

For delivery within the United Kingdom of packets weighing up to 2kgs we use Royal Mail's Standard First Class service. www.royalmail.com. First Class is their fast UK mail service for items not requiring a signature. They aim to deliver all First Class items of mail the next working day.

For 7"/10"/12"/LP we charge £1.99 for first record, then an additional £1 per record (double 12"s count as two records, etc.).

If you order the equivalent of up to 7 12" records (approx.2kgs) this will amount to £7.99 (any additional units after this, ie.weight above 2kgs, we use Parcelforce 24hour service, see below).

CDs / DVDs (singles/doubles/triples) are £1.99 per case. CD/DVD multipacks (6cd's etc.) are £2.99 per pack.

*for delivery to the Isle of Man or any of the Channel Islands we automatically use Royal Mail's Special Delivery Next Day service.

SPECIAL DELIVERY

For guaranteed delivery within the United Kingdom of packets weighing up to 2kgs we use Royal Mail's Special Delivery Next Day service. This is a guaranteed delivery service to most areas of the UK by 1.00pm on the next working day or your money back. Due to local mail delays in remote parts, this may take longer.

For this, we charge as follows,

1 12" record = £4.99
up to 3 12" records = £6.99
up to 7 12" records = £8.99 (any additional units after this, ie.weight above 2kgs, we use Parcelforce Express 24 service).

EXPRESS 24

For guaranteed delivery within the United Kingdom of packets weighing over 2kgs and up to 30kgs  we use Parcelforce 24 hour service www.parcelforce.com. This is a guaranteed delivery service to Zones 1 and 3, plus selected postcodes in Zone 2 by close of business the next working day. Delivery standard to the rest of Zone 2 is normally 2 working days. Extended delivery times do exist for outlying areas.

Zone 1 - England, Wales and parts of Scotland excluding the Highlands & Islands This costs £9.99 upto 30kg

Zone 2 - The Highlands and Islands of Scotland. This costs £15.99 upto 30kg

Zone 3 - Northern Ireland, Isle Of Man, Isles of Scilly. This costs £23.99 upto 30kg

With this service you can order the equivalent of up to 120 12" records (approx 30kgs).

*for delivery to the Channel Islands we use the Parcelforce Europriority Home service.

Parcelforce guarantee definition: "in the unlikely event of late delivery, we will give you a proportionate refund of the carriage cost in accordance with our general Terms and Conditions."

PARCELFORCE ENHANCED COMPENSATION
Inclusive compensation is a maximum of £100 per consignment, across all UK and International services. For added protection, you can take out enhanced compensation. £4 will cover amounts to the total of £500.

EUROPE

AIRMAIL SMALL PACKETS (Insured upto £39.00 in value)

For delivery to Europe of packets weighing up to 2kgs we use Royal Mail's Airmail Small Packets service. This service aims to deliver mail to European destinations in just 3 days.

For 7"/10"/12"/LP we charge £3.99 for first record, then an additional £1.99 per record (double 12"s count as two records, etc.). If you order the equvalent of up to 7 12" records (approx 2kgs) this will be £15.93 (any additional units after this, ie. weight above 2kgs we use the Parcelforce Europriority Home service, see below).

ADDITIONAL INSURANCE AGAINST LOSS OR DAMAGE ON AIRMAIL TO EUROPE
For extra reassurance that your important item has been delivered to it's overseas destination, we use International Signed For. By adding this option, packages are insured upto £250 in value for an additional £3.99 per order and upto £500 in value for an additional £6.99 per order (depending on destination).

This option also includes online tracking up until departure from the UK, so you can check the progress of your item.

PARCELFORCE EUROPRIORITY HOME

For guaranteed delivery to Europe of packets weighing over 2kgs and up to 10kgs we use the Europriority Home service. This is a guaranteed delivery service within 2 working days to most major European countries and from 3 working days elsewhere in Europe.

We suggest you work through our system and the calculation will be done for you at the checkout. The more trade we do to these zones, the more chance that in the future our prices will improve.

With this service you can order the equivalent of up to 40 12" records (approx 10kgs). If you would like to order more from us, ie. anything above 10kgs we require that you send us an email to shop@swagrecords.com.

PARCELFORCE ENHANCED COMPENSATION
Inclusive compensation is a maximum of £100 per consignment, across all UK and International services. For added protection, you can take out enhanced compensation. £4.00 will cover amounts to the total of £500.

REST OF THE WORLD

AIRMAIL SMALL PACKETS (Insured upto £39.00 in value)

For delivery to the Rest of the World (R.O.W.) of packets weighing up to 2kgs we use Royal Mail's Airmail Small Packets service. This service aims to deliver mail Worldwide within five days.

For 7"/10"/12"/LP we charge £4.99 for first record, then an additional £2.99 per record (double 12"s count as two records, etc.). If you order the equvalent of up to 7 12" records (approx 2kgs) this will amount to £22.93 (any additional units after this, ie. weight above 2kgs we use Parcelforce Globalpriority service, see below).

ADDITIONAL INSURANCE AGAINST LOSS OR DAMAGE ON AIRMAIL TO REST OF WORLD
For extra reassurance that your important item has been delivered to it's overseas destination. we use International Signed For. By adding this option, packages are insured upto £250 in value for an additional £3.99 per order and upto £500 in value for an additional £6.99 per order (depending on destination).

PARCELFORCE GLOBAL PRIORITY

For guaranteed delivery to the Rest of the World (R.O.W.) of packets weighing over 2kgs and up to 10kgs we use the Parcelforce Global priority service. This is a guaranteed delivery service from just 3 working days, to destinations outside of Europe. For some international destinations, including but not exclusively Russia, no compensation of any kind is available. For full details please visit www.parcelforce.com/countries.

WEIGHTS

For 7"/10"/12"/LP we use an average weight of 250 grams per record. CD cases are 100 grams per case. Multipacks, ie. 6 x CD's are 250 grams per pack. Products we offer in our merchandise section vary and go up to a maximum weight for a UDG Slingbag Trolley Set of 6.45Kgs. The weight of the mailer or box we use and any protective packaging is included in our price.

RETURNS

We hope that all of our customers are happy with their purchases. If any product we deliver is not what you ordered or is defective or damaged, please let our Customer Service Department know as soon as possible and we will provide a refund or replacement in accordance with our Returns Policy.
